Its true, I am jumping with excitement for "Alice in Wonderland", which comes out March 5th, & also in Imax digital 3D (Definitely the way I want to see it)
I'm sure all of you know the original Alice in wonderland story, either from the book or The 1951 classic.
We all know a girl falls in a hole, drinks from the bottle, shrinks, and so on.
(It sounds like Alice has emotional issues haha)
Anyway, The Movie is of the same premise except this time Alice is 19 and she "returns to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny: to end the Red Queen's reign of terror."(imdb)
This movie is Directed by Tim Burton, whose movies visuals always seem to leave you feeling eerie and calm all at once.
Its no surprise that Johny Depp is again in one of Tim Burton's movies, along side Helena Bonham Carter (who has also starred in other Burton Films).
Also in the movie Anne Hathaway, and the leading actress Mia Wasikowska who has a string of rolls in hardly known movies, but pending this performance I think could really break through.
I'm excited to see how Tim Burton will live up to expectations, by many of his almost cult-like following.
